WOW! I very rarely write a review but I just had to say kudos to this one! If you’re a Brainiac for thinking games this ones for you. Both my sons & I deal with A.D.D. but this game keeps our attention … and THINKING!

Good observation on Gemsweeper:

While the Minesweeper influence (especially with the title) is evident, after playing the game, almost compulsively, for numerous sessions I have come to the conclusion that Sudoku has at least an equal bearing on the design of the game.

So here is some information about the music of the game, if you want to know more:

It was created by an artist named ‘Falcon’, whose real name is Jacek Dojwa. The song is named ‘Cosmic Flow’ and is a special edit of the Falcon’s original song Cosmic outflow. The song is not in the mp3 format like most of today’s music, but comes as an .xm file. This is because it is created with a sequencer, which makes the music special and keeps the download size small.

Gamezebo reviews Gemsweeper. And they like it!

Gamezebo has reviewed Gemsweeper and they seem to really like the game. There current rating is 4 out of 5 stars and the user rating is even better 4 and a half out of 5 stars!

Gemsweeper is a refreshingly different (and difficult) game for puzzle fans. It will especially appeal to those who love Minesweeper or other grid games of deduction, such as Sudoku. It does, however, take a good hour or so for it to pick up – but watch out – once it does, it can be one tough puzzler to keep up with.
